XPERIO BETONCONTACT is an acrylic polymer-based primer that increases the adhesion and durability of cement and gypsum plasters on smooth concrete surfaces, walls, and ceilings.

Features

XPERIO BETONCONTACT is a primer that ensures better adhesion of cement and gypsum plasters to smooth concrete and other similar surfaces. It forms a bonding layer between the surface and the plaster and prevents the plaster from losing water too quickly, making application easier.

Areas of Use

Before using XPERIO BETONCONTACT, the surface must be cleaned from dust and dirt. The surface should be dry and smooth.

Method of Application

Smooth concrete and other surfaces are recommended to be washed with a diluted solution of XPERIO BETONCONTACT (340) mixed with water in a 1:7 ratio (1 part XPERIO BETONCONTACT 340 to 7 parts water). This helps reduce water absorption by the surface and removes dust.
After cleaning, wait for the surface to dry completely (24 hours).
Once the surface is ready, XPERIO BETONCONTACT (339) can be applied with rollers. After it dries (minimum 24 hours), plastering with cement or gypsum-based materials can be done.
It is important to apply XPERIO BETONCONTACT (339) evenly on the surface.
If there are areas where the primer is not applied, the cement or gypsum-based plaster will not adhere properly.
Not recommended for use in high-humidity areas (bathrooms, saunas, etc.).

Drying Time

Drying time depends on temperature. At 25°C, the product dries in 6–8 hours.
Full drying time: 24 hours.

Coverage

1 kg of XPERIO BETONCONTACT covers 3–4 square meters, with an application thickness of 0.2–0.4 mm.

Note

The recommended surface temperature during application is between +5°C and +30°C.

Shelf Life

Shelf life: 2 years.
Ideal storage conditions: between +10°C and +30°C, in unopened packaging, protected from moisture, frost, and direct sunlight.
